Auchtertool Community Council
Auchtertool Community Council exists to help make our village a better place to live and to bring the community together.

The Community Council is made up of residents who volunteer their time, and are democratically elected every four years. We usually meet 8 to 10 times per years, our main purpose being to represent the views of our community to Fife Council and other public bodies (e.g Police) via our Councillors. We also discuss village issues, planning applications, village projects and undertake activities that are of benefit to the village.

Whilst we work closely with Fife Council on community projects, we don't have any special access for urgent issues. So if you notice rubbish needing collected or a street light out, please contact Fife Council yourself - it will be quicker.

Over recent years the Community Council has worked on several community improvement projects including the new play park, speed warning signs, defibrillator, village benches and the floral enhancements.

Please come to one of our meetings or get in touch if you have any issues or suggestions to improve our village.
