About Cato Data Centre
Cato Data Centre is a proposed monster 600MW data centre located adjacent to the village of Auchtertool, on what is currently farmland and the ruins of Hallyards Castle.
To put this into perspective, the largest data centre in the world currently is the Citadel data centre campus in Nevada USA, at 650MW. A development of this scale has no place next to Auchtertool.
You can learn more on this web page from APRS (Action to Protect Rural Scotland).
Details of the planning application can be found on the Fife Council planning portal here.
