Fife Council have announced an election for all Community Councils in Fife. Our own Auchtertool Community Council will be part of this process and therefore all existing councillors who wish to continue for another term will need to apply for nomination.
New members are also actively encouraged to apply before the deadline of 4pm on Thursday 7 September 2023. The full details of the process and how to apply are outlined on the Fife Council website here .
Auchtertool Community Council are actively seeking new members and encourage anyone with a passion for our community to consider joining. Typically the Council meets every 1-2 months for 1-2 hours. You don't need any special skills or knowledge, you can find out more about what's involved in the Community Council section of our website or from Fife Council.
Without new members we risk our Community Council not being representative of the community or even closed down. So please consider getting involved or get in touch with the Community Council to find out more.
